Lonrach 15/03/2007-New Mobilee, Physical, Ripperton, Tuning Spork…and lots more.

As usual it’s 21.00 GMT to 22.30 and you click here to listen live. Or tune in to 106.4FM in Dublin.

I’ve really got a crazy amount of stuff to play this week after having no show last week. There’s a new Gummihz on Mobilee, Isolée remixing the new Lopazz on Get Physical, Ripperton on Systematic, Richie Hawtin remixing Heartthrob as Robotman, David K on the ever ace Freak N Chic labe, Jacek Siencewicz with an epic on Cocoon, Nick Hoppner of My My continuing Ostgut-Ton’s hot streak, Douglas Greed on Freude Am Tamzen, John Daly on Plak as blogged about below, Butane with another great 12 on Roman Photo for the seriously K’ed out listener, and lots more.

Oh and last but not least, I just got the new Michal Ho album today. I should nail my colours to the mast and say I do press for Tuning Spork (hence it being the only label where the releases are exclusive to the show for a week or two!), but I wouldn’t do press for a label unless it was one I’d been a fan of for ages. It’s easy to be positive about records like this.

Michal Ho manages to straddle a boggling amount of microstyles going on in this minimal house scene on this LP, my first impression is that it’s a brilliant record which is totally crammed with detail. Of course anyone who bought his 12 on Tuning Spork from the end of last year will be prepped for this guy’s ability to make curiously organic sounding acid house. Between this and the amazing Shyza Minelli release I’ve been playing in the shows and at the clubs, it’s safe to say the Spork is in full flow.

As usual the show will be up for download here in the morning. If you’re listening live and want to send a text to the studio, it’s +00353866001064!

I checked out the Michal Ho stuff on his Myspace (where he has the album in a streaming mix) and was blown away. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!
