A Rose by any other name
Anyone got any ideas who’s behind this remix of Saint Germain’s “Rose Rouge” that Luciano and Villalobos have been playing? Is it new, is it old? I don’t know. I heard it in a Luciano set and just now heard that Villalobos has also been playing it. Sounds great in a recent Luciano set, very different from the original.

As far as I know, it’s by a Romanian producer called Rhadoo and is unreleased so far. Both Villalobos and Luciano have been caning it for what seems like ages now. There was a big thread about it over on mnml.nl a while back.

Great thread. Seen Luciano and Dear Ol’ Ricardo 4 times over the last 14 days in Ibiza. Both these guys are absolutely flawless. Luciano is also loving Argy 1985 (sydenham/rune remix) and DC10 is going wild for it. I do have a track question also!. Both Ricardo and Luciano are also playing a track that I simply cannot find. To describe it very simply (and poorly) it has a really lazy snare drum that’s cuts in and out out of sync with the general 4/4 of the track. The rack is not very layered but the snare drum is very apparent. Assistance?
