Even though I am a big fan of the innervisions sound I can't say I like LG's ep. There just seems to be something a bit naff, a bit cheesy about it. It puts me in mind of the sort of music you would hear at Cirque du Soleil.

To me Quiet Village is dubby and has some space to think, this Garnier seems much more frenetic and the psychedelic side is stifled by all those percs....

Have to say I very much agree Ronan, was really expecting a huge monster of a track from Garnier considering all the hype but all I was left with was a long drawn out doodle of a track. Buttrich is more like Matthias Sammer for me. Quality output all the time.

After a first listen through Juno, I can't really say i agree with you. This is in an influence that we've been seeing quite a lot recently, namely funk/cosmic/psychedelic coming back. Quiet Village go for a re-do of the original sound while Laurent takes elements of the past and clothes them into a modern electronic music jacket.
This wouldn't work in your avarage club but a Mike Simonetti or Todd Terje would perfectly be able to fit it in and their crowd would definitely be dancing to it. Who ever said this had to be a club anthem anyways?
