went to contakt at last DEMF.
nothing special, more hype than ever.
the setup was expectant but you can have richie, marc and jon gaiser playing at the same time but it’s the same bleepy boring sound though.

The Kube…seriously…were the sales so bad they had to come up with this???

Although the idea of doing a live-supergroup performance, similar to Narodniki (invented by Cabanne, Luciano & Zip if I’m not wrong), wasn’t bad .

Has anyone been to a Contakt event? What did it sound like?

HAHAHHAHAH. That is absolutely brilliant. The cube concept represents an attempt to shepherd an already uber clique-y following towards a place of unparalleled social paraplegia - cringe! - I’m reticent to say its failed completely, as im sure some loyal followers “get it” - But, from reading most peoples views on this idiotic tack by the minus shower, the majority agree that its firm foundation rests in the combined egos and incestuous “coolness” of this circus. I mean seriously if this lot were any more up their own arse………..Such a shame cos i’ve really enjoyed hawtins sets over the years - this year however having seen him in Fabric, Field Day and somewhere else im just not that impressed anymore.
